Senticon has recently released new version of the Device Configuration and Modbus Configuration Tools. Device Configuration Tool is an easy to use software to configure Senticon devices over USB-SERIAL link or BLE-TOOLSET wireless link.
Modbus Device Configuration tool is a FREE tool allowing configuration of Senticon's devices over the Modbus network with zero need to configure the Modbus registers.
The both tools use Device Templates that are JSON (text file) presentation of the parameters available on the connected device. These templates create the tree structure on the left side of the tool that can be used to navigate to view the current measurements, and to change the configuration settings. After the changes are made 'Apply Changes' button will store permanently in the device (Smart Sensor/Controller) non volatile memory.
The tools can also be used to save the device configuration backup on the PC and load back to device (copying the configuration from one device to another).
The lates version of the Device Configuration Tool and Modbus Configuration Tool (v1.49) check the device firmware version, and if the Template (JSON presentation of the controller parameters) is older than the controller version, it will prompt to update the tool (or JSON templates).
