Aesthetic Smart Touchscreen Interfaces

Senticon room controllers and sensors offer smart capacitive colour touchscreen user interface. The interface comes with number of skin colours that allow the devices to be configured to suit the building colour scheme. The colour touchscreen can be configured to show measurements and settings. The display can also be used to show the energy and consumption measurements in the buildings. This way the single device can operate as measurement device, as a temperature and air quality controller and as the energy interface.

Control from you Mobile Phone App

Senticon's Smart Modbus and BACnet room sensors and intelligent Modbus and BACnet room controllers can be controlled from your mobile phone using SmartView application (iOS). The SmartView connects to your room device wirelessly using Bluetooth communication. It is as simple as connecting your phone to the sensor or controllers, and the application will automatically create image of your device configuration. Once connected you can easily review the current measurements in your room, change setpoints, operating mode (occupied/unoccupied/night) and fan speed. Current heating heating or cooling demand can also be displayed.  Available through Apple AppStore.

Importance of Air Quality in Indoor Spaces

The good indoor air quality is important for the health of the occupants. Indoor air quality is improved by increasing filtered air ventilation to spaces. At the same time the indoor comfort levels are required to be maintained therefore increasing the energy consumption. Senticon offers solutions for both measuring the indoor air quality accurately, as well as controlling the environment energy efficiently to the user comfort levels. For example, our QER Smart CO2 Sensors and VER Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) sensors can be used to measure and indicate indoor conditions accurately. The sensors are connected to the BMS and IoT via BACnet and Modbus communication. The sensors have also built-in control functionality offering a compact solution.

Our QCR CO2 room temperature and air quality controllers expand the range with advanced multi-loop temperature, air quality and humidity controls. The QCR contollers are typically used in offices, hotels and commercial spaces, and provide BACnet / Modbus connection. The controllers have also attractive configurable colour touchscreen interface for indicating e.g. air quality and energy consumption levels.

Senticon's solutions offer advanced control and measurement solutions to most indoor temperature, humidity and air quality applications. The room controllers can be configured through the Windows Device Configuration Tools and/or Smart Phone App to typical fan coil unit, chilled beam and VAV applications. The products have been designed to cater from the basic applications to the most complex applications with configuration flexibility. Senticon's programming tools have been tested and optimised for use by the engineers considering the importance of the robustness, efficiency and ease-of-use.
