CDR-MOD/CDR-BAC REPLACEMENT WITH CDR04
The CDR04 (CDR-BAC) Smart BACnet Room CO2 and Temperature sensors have been designed for measuring CO2 and temperature in modern buildings. The CDR04 Modbus sensors can have additional Relative Humidity or PIR Occupancy sensor options. The CDR-BAC sensors have practically identically wiring for discontinued SyxthSense/Produal CDR-BAC BACnet CO2 sensors, making service replacements easy.
The sensors have 2 x Universal Inputs (NTC10 resistance, 0-10V and digital), 2 x 0-10Vdc outputs and 2 x 24Vac Triac outputs that switch the load to 0Vac. The outputs can be used to send the measurement signals to BMS and other building controllers. The inputs and outputs can also be controlled over the network, making the device operate as intelligent BACnet I/O-module.
With LCD colour display option the sensor can be used to indicated measurements and status of the control system. The measurement locations, descriptions, language etc. can be configured to suit the requirements. The sensor can also display parameters such as energy and water consumption readings. The CDR04 ('CDR-BAC') sensors can also operate as so called 'traffic light' sensors indicating normal, amber and red status of the measurements (CO2).
With 1 Button option LCD, the button can operate as an extension boost button. With 2 button LCD the CDR04 (CDR-BAC) CO2 sensors can also be used as setpoint adjustment unit for the BMS. With 3-button and LCD the CDR04 (CDR-BAC) CO2 sensors have both setpoint adjustment as well as boost button.
The CDR04 (CDR-BAC) sensors also incorporate integrated temperature (4-stage) control loop and CO2 control loop. Maximum VAV control function provides damper opening in case of both cooling and CO2 demand.
The CDR04 (CDR-BAC) Modbus sensors can be configured using Windows Device Configuration Tool (connected wirelessly using Bluetooth) or from SmartConfig iOS app. For ease of commissioning the sensor address can also be set from the bit switch or from the LCD screen.
